I'm about to sell my truck and a buyer wants to use an online escrow service. I've never done it from the seller's side. Do I mention it during negotiation or after we agree on the number? I don't want it to scare anyone off, but I also don't want to spring it on them at the last minute. What's the usual etiquette?

Mention it early. Buyers who've been scammed will actually relax when you suggest escrow, not run away.

I put it in the listing now — 'escrow welcome, buyer pays the fee' — and it filters out the time-wasters.
