Hey everyone, just wrapped up my first car purchase using Auto VIP Escrow and wanted to share my experience. I was buying a 2020 Toyota RAV4 from a seller in Texas, and I'm up in Oklahoma. The idea of wiring $25,000 to a stranger for a car I hadn't seen in person felt super risky, even with all the photos and video calls. That's when I started looking into escrow services, and autovipe.com popped up. The onboarding process was smooth. Both the seller and I had to submit our IDs and sign the purchase agreement electronically. It was pretty straightforward, and their team was clear about what documents they needed. Once the paperwork was done, I funded the escrow account with a wire transfer. I got confirmation pretty quickly that the funds were secured, which was a huge relief. The seller also got a notification that the money was safely held, so they felt comfortable shipping the car.
